Railport Preferred Duyar for Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project!

Railport, the investor of Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project, which is being realised in Kartepe district of Kocaeli, preferred Duyar products for fire and HVAC systems.

Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project, a first in Turkey, where Railport, a company of Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Operations Group, is the investor and Sera Yapı is the main contractor, will be a logistics centre directly connected to trade lines on a wide route from China to Europe.

Both Railway and Road

Kartepe Intermodal Logistics Terminal Project, which will serve on a total area of 265 thousand square metres, will be used in two different modes of transport, including both rail and road. When the project is completed, it will serve both as a leading land port (dryport) in the sector and as a bonded area.

Mr. Osman Alpaydın, SERA Construction Mechanical Works Group Manager, whom we interviewed about the project, stated that they are very pleased to work with Duyar, that all Duyar products preferred, especially hydrant, gate valve and junction valve set, will add a distinct quality to the project and that they will continue to use Duyar products in future new projects.
